He was to be seen at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland, where he was just placed back again! The Orange Bird was so very popular, and a hit that he had merchandise, was a walk-around character in the park, and had its own record recorded by the Sherman Brothers. The record was Released in 1971 to feature “The Orange Bird Song.” The Sherman Brothers are known for their works on several Disney features including “Mary Poppins.” The Orange Bird will return to Sunshine Tree Terrace and quirky drink cups, and a new line of Orange Bird merchandise has already appeared on the shelves! Also the original Orange Bird statue inside the terrace has just been refurbished and placed back. So whenever you are in Walt Disney World, stop by and say Hello!
